TRR 170 Annual Retreats
The annual retreats comprised a scientific meeting and a member meeting. While CRC 170 members and guest scientists from international universities and research institutions participated in the scientific meetings, only CRC 170 members attended the member meetings.
CRC 170 Annual Retreat, Hodenhagen, November 24-25, 2016
The first annual retreat was held at the Hotel Michel in Hodenhagen, bringing together more than 60 members of CRC 170—including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and project leaders. Through a series of talks and poster presentations, participants discussed their scientific objectives for the initial funding period.

The Paneth Colloquium is a biennial conference focusing on cosmochemistry, planetary science, and astrophysics, held every other October in Nördlingen, Germany. In 2017, CRC 170 combined its annual retreat with the Paneth Colloquium, organizing its scientific meeting in conjunction with the event.

CRC 170 Annual Retreat, Washington D.C. (USA), December 10-14, 2018
At this year’s annual retreat, CRC 170 combined its scientific meeting with the AGU Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C. (USA), presenting its research in the session “The Significance of Late Accretion for the Composition and Early Evolution of the Terrestrial Planets.”

Due to the current Corona situation, we could not meet in person at our annual retreat 2021. Instead, we organized a meeting with gather.town where we held a poster session with scientific discussions.

CRC 170 Annual Retreat, Potsdam, May 4-6, 2022
Because of the Corona situation we had to move the year 2021 Annual Retreat from October 2021 to May 2022. But finally we met at the Seminaris Seehotel Potsdam. More than 50 scientists of the TRR 170 including PhD students, postdocs, and project leaders met and spent two days together discussing science using lectures and posters.
